    • Low topside profile and recessed hatches makes for less wind resistance.

    • The hatch openings are larger than average. This makes stowing items like a tent and spare paddle, a lot easier than with many other kayaks.

    • The large cockpit adapts easily for any size paddler.

    • The hatch sealing system keeps everything inside dry, even in the harshest of conditions.

    • The hatches, combined with the fore and aft bulkheads on the SK-17, Keep your gear safe while providing a lot of buoyancy. That's important when you are cutting through large waves.
