The Sea Knife 17 is an inexpensive expedition kayak with a very
stable and very fast hull that “cuts the sea”. It’s fiberglass construction
is very strong with little energy wasting flax. It has sharp chines which gives
it it’s superior tracking and handling qualities in all winds. It’s extra width
gives it excellent secondary stability.
This is a very rugged and seaworthy
craft designed for the North Atlantic. The high sheared bow makes for a dryer
deck and excellent entry in waves. The two large square hatches with gasket
seals and water tight fiberglass bulk heads allows large bulky items to be
stored with ease.
